  Problem solved! It was the permissions of the share folder, not the security, that were hampering. They were just set to read.

  Hi Jeff, Thanks for the quick reply! You have, however, confused me somewhat. I have the network share folder setup to allow Network Service full control (as well as myself full control and ASPNET full control) - this is did from right-click - security etc. Still, it doesn't believe it has permissions. Am i right in thinking with impersonate = false set that i would then have to grant Network Service the control permissions?

  Hi Guys, My problem seems to have been raised a number of times before, but where past solutions seem to have worked for other people I don’t seem to be having the same luck! :( Setup: Win 2003 server (SP2) – IIS 6 I’ve inherited an application which at one point uploads files from a CD to a temporary directory. This temporary directory is a network share i.e. \\TempestStaging\HTempest\TemporaryImages\. The application needs to create a subfolder in the TemporaryImages directory and then copy the
