  • Re: Ajax enabled WCF Service stops working with Undefined error

I've had this intermittent problem from the start while developing on my home XP/Visual Web Developer 2008, my work Windows Server 2003/Visual Studio, and now in production, again Windows Server 2003/IIS6 - all running framework V3.5. Thanks for your post. What do you mean by the statement, "Your'd better include the other js files by ScriptManager."? Would you elaborate? Does anyone know where Microsoft stands on this? Is Microsoft not supporting WCF? Glenn Michael

  • Re: How can to get a Dataset from client in Atlas?

Amit Are you referring to the May Futures and the Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll? If so, where is the support in the May Futures for Client access to datasets/datatables? I looked at the documentation for the Futures and didn't see it. Thanks for your help... Glenn Michael

Raymond Wen - MSFT: To make use of UpdatePanel is the easiest way of making a Ajax enabled web application. And most of time, it's the best choice. But as you've said, it's a real time system. I think the the timer which fires too frequently may bring too much burdens to the server. I've the following suggestions for you: 1. Reduce the interval of the Timer control 2. Set the UpdatePanel's UpdateMode to conditional to avoid uncessory traffic. Hi Ramond, We’re getting the ‘PageRequestManagerServerErrorException
