Re: Suggestions for mobile development
Thanks guys for your replies. I will post my results in 2-3 weeks after prototype is over. One question though, You said not to use javascript. If my target audience is mostly new smart phones, is there going to be any issue? I would like to use asynchronous requests from it.

Suggestions for mobile development
I use ASP.NET 3.5 for my web project and server components. I need to develop a trimmed down mobile front-end that may be used from popular smartphone browsers. However, my current pages seem very heavy for that type of bandwidth / size. I started looking into ASP.NET mobile platform but they seem to be very inferior. They haven't been updated in a while I guess. What would be my options? 1. Develop trimmed web pages with traditional controls but with respect to mobile size / speed / navigation

Re: Suggestions for mobile development
Thank you for your response. What are some guidelines to make pages for mobile browsers? I just tried to play with width of my containers and it just looks so different on iPhone, G1 or Pre. I thought it would come out similar?

Re: Serious / weird problem running or debugging VS 2008 web project
You won't believe but here is little tidbit. Hitting F5 from keyboard still gives me this issue (%-wise) Clicking 'Run' button from toolbar (green arrow) works well without creating above problem. Weird stuff because these commands should have exactly same behavior.

Re: Serious / weird problem running or debugging VS 2008 web project
Works well. IE also gained some speed. Why don't they have that key by default? Anyway thank you.

Re: Inserting Update Panel Contents to Database
Your post is very vague. You need to capture drop down lists's SelectedIndexChanged event and do database operations you want to do.

Re: document.getElementById(...)' is null or not an object
While you are preparing script, use "document.getElementById('" + codigoProcedimientoTextBox.ClientID + "').value=elemValue[0];" & vbCrLf _

Re: document.getElementById(...)' is null or not an object
I am sorry. It should be & for VB. I am in C# so + came out naturally.

Re: autocomplete extender
I had similar issue. Here is my autocomplete styles. Are you using "!important" tag? Also check using IE development toolbar z-index of your editor control. /*AutoComplete flyout */ . autocomplete_completionlistelement { border: 1 px solid # 000000 ; visibility: hidden ; margin: 0 px !important ; background-color: # E5ECF9 ; color: Black ; cursor : pointer ; overflow: scroll ; height: 150 px ; width: 500 px !important ; text-align: left ; list-style-type: none ; z-index: 10003 !important
