Re: The "Enter" Key does not fire the onkeypress event in "Select" objects in Windows Mobile Internet Explorer
Hello, Internet Explorer Mobile WM 5+ doesn't support key events. Therefore your code will never work. Alternative you can use the Access Key attribute. E. g. < input name = "OkButton" type = "submit" value = " Ok " accesskey="z" />

Re: Web page display problem on Mobile IE 6.5
I've just tried MobileOptimized meta tag (content=480), and exactly, the screen just can show half of page width by default and I need to scroll horizontally.
You have to use content=240 as I wrote above.

Re: Web page display problem on Mobile IE 6.5
This will not work with WVGA 480x800. If you have a WVGA-device you have to use width=240. Thank you.

Re: how to enable javascript on windows mobile 6
Hello, JScript is enabled by default in IEMobile WM 6.1. You don't have to enable it. If you have further questions please ask.

Re: Web page display problem on Mobile IE 6.5
Remember that the new Internet Explorer Mobile 6 under WM 6.5 has two view modes: Desktop and Mobile . The display issue only occurs in desktop view which is the deault view on physical devices.

Re: how to enable javascript on windows mobile 6
Hello, you must have understood something wrong. JScript cannot be disabled or enabled on a WM device. The browser capabilities depend on browser definitions on the server side and have nothing to do with the capabilities of the device, i. e. if JavaScript is false in the browser caps this might be caused by a wrong device or browser detection.

Re: how to enable javascript on windows mobile 6
in windows mobile 6.5, it can. but unfortunately i am using mobile 6.1. and the web site detected WM emulator enabled javascript and my htc dual mobile is not. Thanks Wilson
The reason is that your HTC Dual has a different user agent string than the Device emulator. The user agent string depends on the provider.

Re: Web page display problem on Mobile IE 6.5
Hello, are you using WVGA? If yes, I can confirm that this behavior seems to bee a bug of Internet Explorer Mobile 6. I had the same issue with my mobile web application and the only solution is to use a ViewPort or a MobileOptimized meta tag. I don't know why but if you use those meta tags you have divide the width by 2, e. g. 480/2 = 240.

Re: User's Mobile Information from asp.net
I want to track details of user's device like handset model number, location, mobile number etc.
1) You track the mobile device model by analyzing the User Agent. 2) You can get the location of the user by his IP Address with a GeoIP Service or depending on the device within the browser. But you should follow the privacy protection. 3) You cannot query the mobile phone number from the browser and you should not do this because of the protection of privacy

Re: IsMobileDevice not detecting an iPod
Hello, if you use the MDBF the iPod Touch should be detected as a mobile device, i. e. IsMobileDevice is true. Therefore something else must be wrong in your project.
