• Re: Create Virtual Directory

The next request would create the virtual dir successfully: < request > < data > < key path= "IIS://WEB01/W3SVC/636939387/Root/contoso_10" type= "IISWebVirtualDir" > < properties > < property name= "Path" >C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testWebSites\contoso_10</ property > < property name= "AccessFlags" >513</ property > < property name= "AppFriendlyName" >contoso</ property > < property name= "DefaultDoc" >default.htm,default.aspx,default.asp<

• Re: Error when calling Managed Web Hosting CreateCustomerWebsite

Thanks Steve, that issue got solved when I passed MPS from one single VPC to a multi-VPC domain. Now I have this related issue: http://forums.asp.net/thread/1682021.aspx Thanks! Ariel Schapiro
• Re: Provisioning Deployment Tool

Hi, I had a similar issue (as described in this post: http://forums.asp.net/1671181/ShowThread.aspx ) and the following seemed to fix it: "I restarted the VPC and then added again the MPSSQL01 server to the Plans Database and Plans Database Account branches of the requirements and the deployment continued." (from http://forums.asp.net/1671181/ShowThread.aspx ) Hope that helps! Ariel Schapiro
• Re: Create Virtual Directory

I tried with the following request and I get no error and I can later use the GetProperties method to retrieve the virtual directory properties, but I dont see it on the IIS nor I can explore it with a browser . The Provider makes a response like it created the virtual dir but the virtual dir doesn't seem to be there. Any clues? < request > < data > < key path= "IIS://WEB01/W3SVC/636939387/contoso_10" type= "IISWebVirtualDir" > < properties > < property name= "Path" >C
• Create Virtual Directory

Hi, I want to create a virtual directory in IIS6 with a MPS provisioning request, if possible without having to create a new namespace. The options I thought of were: Managed IIS.CreateVDir : I'm getting "Unable to open object 'LDAP://AD01.WBH.LAB/<GUID=>'." error but taking a look at that procedure code I see it calls IISSCOv50's.CreateVDir later so I guess it will not work anyway because I have to create the VDir on IIS6. IIS Provider.Create: since this is a provider I would have
• ADAM Provider

Hi, I need to add an OU to one provisioning destination machine which has Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM). Is there any ADAM provider available, I can use AD Managed provider or I should make my own ADAM provider? Thanks! Ariel Schapiro
• Re: Provisioning Deployment Tool.

It was DWSPV.23 but is now solved: I restarted the VPC and then added again the MPSSQL01 server to the Plans Database and Plans Database Account branches of the requirements and the deployment continued. The issue was that the Plans Database deployment threw an exception that I couldn't solve: http://forums.asp.net/898546/ShowPost.aspx . I installed SP2 but the issue remains Thanks! Ariel Schapiro

Hi, I'm having the same issue. The last action history item I find is the following: ManagedSharepoint2007:InitializeNamespaceSecurity: Command Line: cmd.exe /c ""C:\Program Files\Microsoft Provisioning\Tools\provtest.exe" " \\MPS01\ConfigShare\Log\proc.xml " > " \\MPS01\ConfigShare\Log\ManagedSharePoint2007_InitializeNamespaceSecurity on ManagedSharePoint2007_InitializeNamespaceSecurity 20070418_110657.log"" Log: < response >< data > < executeData > < preferredDomainController
