    It sounds like you haven't looked in your Event Viewer (instead of the log file). If you open Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer (it's also in Computer Manager) you will see Application Errors that explain some details about the error you are getting. In my case it was a folder permissions problem. I gave the ASPNET user access to my web folders and it worked. http://www.linkedin.com/in/erikpearson
