Re: Need CalendarExtender to Render OVER DropDownList - IE6
Apparently, the problem is related to the CalendarExtender nested in a control that has a relative position to its parent. It doesn't solve the problem, just an FYI... -Dave

Need CalendarExtender to Render OVER DropDownList - IE6
None of the solutions offered in other threads worked for me. I've included some screen shots below, which demonstrate strange browser positioning behavior: To clarify, I'm using CalendarExtender controls along with DropDownList controls in the EditItemTemplate of a DetailsView control inside a Panel control, which is the TargetControlId for a CollapsiblePanelExtender, which is ALL INSIDE AN UpdatePanel. INITIAL VIEW VIEW WHEN CALENDAR IS SELECTED ( NOTE THE HORIZONTAL SCROLLING ) VIEW IS CORRECTED

CalendarExtender Render Issues when Placed Inside Wizard Control
I'm using the CalendarExtender within the 3rd step of a Wizard Control. While developing the WizardStep, I would run the app (from that step) and the CalendarExtender controls render correctly. After completing development, I appropriately reset the Wizard Control to deploy from the Start WizardStep. But, the CalendarExtender does not render correctly when running the app from any step prior to the step that contains the CalendarExtender. CORRECT RENDERING INCORRECT RENDERING Thanks, -Dave

Re: Making User Name in Login Control Case-Sensitive
Unfortunately, none of these answers really helps in my situation. The username is the same format for all users 'First Last' - where first letter in first name is cap and first letter in last name is cap with a space between first and last. I solved it by using JavaScript on the onblur Event of the UserName Control (textbox). It converts whatever input is entered to the formatting I've described above. Thanks for the help though. Dave

Capturing the Selected Date from the CalendarExtender
Unlike the standard Calendar control, the CalendarExtender in the AJAX Control Toolkit does not provide a SelectedDate property to access. Also, you can't get the data from the TargetControl textbox unless you change the AllowPostBack property of the textbox to true, which kind of defeats the purpose of using AJAX in the first place. How can I get the date information from the CalendarExtender? Thanks, -Dave

Making User Name in Login Control Case-Sensitive
I've seen many posts regarding this issue but not any solutions I can use. I need the UserName to be case-sensitive; but, by default, when a user is created via the CreateUserWizard control, the field LoweredUserName is created in the aspnet_Users table - allowing the user to login with either version of their UserName. I understand why that is done but I need a simple way to circumvent this action so that ONLY the case-sensitive (UserName) field can be used to authenticate, not the case-insensitive
