Re: Model-View-Presenter - use binding?
I think that your suggesions direct to MVC (Model View Controller) patterns. Specific thing for MVP is that View is completely independent from Model. Role of Presenter is to separate View from Model. In MVC design pattern View depends also on Model. You can read http://blog.vuscode.com/malovicn/archive/2007/12/18/model-view-presenter-mvp-vs-model-view-controller-mvc.aspx to compare MVP with MVC and see differences between them. In MVP we traditionaly use databinding when we set data to the complex

Re: SOA (using WCF) - design related question
I think, that there are 2 significat potencial problems: performace - service is called from another service dependencies - one service depends on two next services. According to SOA principes the services should be autonomous.

Re: SOA (using WCF) - design related question
I think there is a third option e. g. call Service 1 and Service 2 from client. Try to read som articles about SOA composition (orchestration and choreography). If the performance point of view is significant I would prefer second option, but from maintenance point of view this solution introduces duplicited logic.
