Re: Having same problem as kporter - converter doesn't show up in VS
I got the program to work in the batch mode in the DOS window. It converts all the files in a directory. It creates them as a VS2003 project, which then has to be converted to a VS2005 project. 'm now looking at the output trying to decipher what it did. I see a lot of "PHP.TypeSupport" in the files and am trying to figure out if this is a C# or VS class to support PHP constructs...

Re: Convert does not give the PHP-C# assistant option.
I'm having the same problem. Installation goes ok, but it doesn't show up. Does it not work with VS2005?

I'm on VS2005. Does the converter not work with it? Install goes ok, but it doesn't show up.

Re: Namespace UI does not exist in System.Web error
The error message was actually saying what was wrong - to someone who knew what it was talking about! I eventually figured it out: I clicked on all the little plusses in the Solution Explorer and eventually exposed "References". When I opened that, I had the opportunity to add a reference. I selected System.Web from the list and added it. I guess someday us programmers will get smart enough to go ahead and fix something when we know it's wrong! Like Visual Studio can tell me I'm missing a semi-colon

Namespace UI does not exist in System.Web error
Anyone know what could be causing this? Trying to create a custom web part. Following chapter 7 in MS ASP.NET 2.0 Step by Step book. Code on CD that came with book gets the same errors. The type or namespace name 'UI' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Web' (are you missing an assembly reference?) Get the error on all lines that include the UI: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Text; using System.Web; using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControls; using System
