  Hi mariana What is your Windows version? You can try to use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 to remove the VS remnants, then try a reinstall. Thanks.

  Additionally, i f your application is running under IIS, make sure to grant the permission to accounts "ASPNET" or "NETWORK SERVICE ".

  Hi rtolapi What is the switch you used with aspnet_regiis? I guess you may get better chance to be answered in http://forums.iis.net/ for IIS problems. On the other hand, you may try repairing/reinstalling the .NET framework on the machine. Thanks.

  Can you see the SQL Server 2005 compact edition entry in the programs under the control panel? If it is installed successfully, you should be able to Manage SQL Server Compact Edition Databases with SQL Server Management Studio . Thanks.

  Hi kamy What is the specific problem you met? You probably should run the application "run as Administrator" with UAC enabled (Vista or above versions). Thanks.
