• Reference not found exception during client-side component creation

  I am using the Microsoft Ajax Library version 3.5 SP1 with the corresponding Ajax Control Toolkit, and am running into a problem with the Tabs control. Essentially, when the Microsoft Ajax Library creates the tab panel and tries to populate the reference to the owner (the tab container), the container is not yet created. I am getting a Reference Not Found exception. The problem only surfaces in a certain scenario, which I will describe below. Essentially, the Microsoft Ajax Library depends on components
