Can't get codeSubDirectories section to be ignored by IngoreSectionHandler....
We have a root web.config that we can't move. It has a codeSubDirectories section in it. Application's down the tree that don't want this are getting it and the MSDN help for using <clear/> and <remove/> do not work. I was hoping to just tell web.config's down the tree that didn't need it to ignore it by using the IgnoreSectionHandler BUT I can't seem to get it to work. Any Idea's: <configSections> <!-- <sectionGroup name="compilation">

Re: httpwebrequest to payment processor
I just did this with Authorize.Net.... See the below article for how to do that. The code you are using will send a stream to your payment processor. It will not send a user. This technique is best used when you gather all of the relevant information and then ask the payment processor to validate and execute the CC transaction with a response coming back to you. This article creates in memory a form that submits itself to the 3rd party vendor for the customer to complete the process (IE - enter CC

Replacement for Application Test Center ????
I moved from VS2K3 Ent. Arch. to VS2K5 Pro seeing how the cost of team system was far out of reach.... Of course now I can't load test my web apps since Testing has moved to the Team system. Does anyone have suggestions for a good Load test tool for asp.net 2.0 apps? My preference is Free but I may have to fork up the $ for something if free is not available/adequate. Thanks

Re: ObjectDataSource + GridView + Disabled ViewState = Major Concurrency Issues (possible solution)
I confirmed Scott's setup with the objectdatasource... However, is there a work around for sqldatasources? I tried adapting your code (Scott) to them and found that I couldn't capture the value before postback occurs to repop the datakeys.

Re: gridview viewstate off in updatepanel - panel toggled visible/invisible based on button click in item template...
after further researching I discovered that this is not an AJAX issue. The visible property for the panel control is not saved in the control state so since we dropped viewstate the properties value is getting lost on postbacks....

gridview viewstate off in updatepanel - panel toggled visible/invisible based on button click in item template...
I have a gridview that i coded up wo AJAX and had working great. One column had an image button that when clicked toggled the visibility of a panel in that column (pnlEmpDetail.visible = not pnlEmpDetal.visible) and another column with another button that when clicked toggled the visibility of a calendar control. I then moved the gridview into an AJAX update panel and shutoff the gridview's viewstate in order for AJAX do it's thing on the gridview. This of course means that the above code doesn't
