Re: "Logon failed. Details: IM002:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified"
Crystal reports has the worst api i've ever seen. You will see 1000s upon 1000s of connection error - related posts by programmers. If I configure a report to use a single ODBC connection, then set valid user, password, and dsn there should be no reason for the login errors to occur.

Re: TemplatedWizardStep doesn't register as a WizardStep
It's far easier to code your own panel sequence, wired up with javascript than it is to use the asp.net wizard control, and more responsive.

Building XML Document
I'm in the process of replacing Crystal Reports implementation in a project in favor of using business objects , XSD, and XSLT to generate formatted reports in HTML. I'm looking for an efficient way to generate the XML file based on business object data utilizing the schema I generated from an XML document template. The approaches that I've considered are: 1) Manually building the XML file in code from a high-level object that has visibility of all objects required to generate the report

Re: WCF making me pull out my hair
Yeah I downloaded several of the WCF webcasts but media player 11 can't open them, listing: "Windows Media Player cannot play a portion of the file because it requires a codec that either could not be downloaded or that is not supported by the Player." In file properties the audio and video codecs are blank... microsoft support just sent me back to the FAQ which wasn't very helpful

Re: WCF making me pull out my hair
I suppose in the same way that web services and page methods were supported for debug / development purposes... why would I want to develop complicated services and host them before I can debug them?

WCF making me pull out my hair
I installed VS Web developer 2008 and went through tutorials about using the WCF ajax enabled template. I created a new website and added an ajax-enabled wcf service to it. Even though I've followed every piece of advice I can find, no intellisense shows up when I attempt to consume it in javascript, i only receive the 'service xx is undefined'.. its driving me mad. Does the WCF service need to be published before I can attempt to test it, or is it ok to have it in the same 'web site'

web page designer removes double quotes from attributes
When I modify anything through the web page designer in the IDE, data source or control properties, the auto-generated html does not surround attribute values with double quotes. Anyone have an idea why this is? It is very annoying to have to go through each page modified this way and manually add the double quotes.
