  Hi, Thank you for the tips, its now working !!! I have the following in my web.config < httpHandlers > < add verb = " GET, HEAD, POST, DEBUG " path = " *.cfm " type = " System.Web.UI.PageHandlerFactory " /> </ httpHandlers > and < buildProviders > < add extension = " .cfm " type = " System.Web.Compilation.PageBuildProvider " /> </ buildProviders > Plus with the hosting mapping cfm it all works like a treat now.

  Hi, Thanks for the reply, I went back read Scott's post on (as you mentioned) http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2007/02/26/tip-trick-url-rewriting-with-asp-net.aspx I've rehashed the whole thing and used UrlRewritingNet. When I used it before I had the following rule: < rewrite url = " ~/Default.aspx " to = " ~/Default.aspx " /> This was killing my app by redirecting all address that ended in 'Default.aspx' to the homepage of the website.   Hi, Thanks for the replies, the host has now mapped the cfm extension to the asp.net ISAPI, even though I'm not getting same error message, I'm now getting just a blank page in Firefox (no source code either) Cannot display webpage in IE Nothing in Opera (no source code either) The page I'm testing is 'contact.cfm' Any ideas ? Thanks again James

  Hi, I'm trying to implement UrlRewritingNet on my site. So far I have this rule in my web.config: <urlrewritingnet> <rewrites> <add name="TestRule" virtualUrl="~/Academy-Overview/Default.aspx" destinationUrl="~/Academies/Default.aspx?Tab=Overview" ignoreCase="true" /> </rewrites> </urlrewritingnet> I don't want to use regex in this example, I just want to Academy-Overview/Default.aspx page to load up Academies/Default.aspx
