Re: Help Please - Can't Install SQL Server 2005
I was not able to fix the issue right aways. I restore my computer to an earlier date, and it corupted my sql server file. As a result, I was not able to remove sql server 2005. I reformat my hard drive and reinstall everything from scratch. However, someone else told me that the sql server with advance tool should fix that issue. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=B5D1B8C3-FDA5-4508-B0D0-1311D670E336&displaylang=en I don't know if it works, but it worth a try given

Help Please - Can't Install SQL Server 2005
Hi, I tried to install sql server 2008 management studio. It took me to the SQL Server Installation Center, and it run the rule check. It always failed saying that I need to restart my computer. I restarted the computer at least 20 times, and it has not solved the problem. I've gotten the same error. Window XP pro with SP3, PENTIUM 3 2.4 GHZ I had sql server 2005 install previously, butI removed it before installing 2008. I tried installing sql server 2008 express with tool, and it did not work

Re: Need help with Web.config file
I am new to programming, so I've been experimenting. I was trying to save the information entered in a profile, and I redirected the user to another page once the next button is clicked. Then, I checked to make sure that the data entered is not changed. I watched a video, and the guy did it that way, and I was trying to do it the same way.

See bullet point for profile information <?xml version="1.0"?> <configuration> <configSections> <sectionGroup name="system.web.extensions" type

Re: Web Site Administration Tool Error
I finally got it to work. When I opened the VSW, it asked to save the project. I chose a location on my desktop. When I ran the asp.configuration file, it was looking in my "c:/my document/...." instead of my desktop. Thanks to those of you who've responded to my post.

Re: Can't access the Asp.net web application tool
Yes, it does have the option. I can see the tab when I click on "How to use this tools", but it says "Tool has timed out" when I click on the security or application tab.
