• Re: Unable to connect to Visual Studio's localhost server

  I do not get the "Page not found" error, anyway I did it and the event log does not show any descriptive message. By the way, I checked in a community college a computer that shows the page in a browser using the option "View in browser" with the same installation like my laptop, I mean VS2005 professional edition. The only difference is the language in windows xp sp2, mine has spanish. What else can I check?. Thanks in advance.

  I need your help to solve a problem I am having in my laptop in order to work with Visual Studio 2005 to use the option “View in a browser” a website or to launch the ASP.Net Configuration. The message I got is “Unable to connect to Visual Studio’s localhost server.” My configuration is: - Windows XP Version 5.1 (Build 2600-xp-sp2) Spanish version ( I do not think this is the problem) - Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition Version 8.0.50727.42 - Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0.50727
