Adding a Namespace-Prefix to an Element
Hi, I am fighting with this problem since days now. Can anybody help: I write a .net webservice wich will be called from an SAP XI System. I included an wsdl-file which defines the Methodparameters and the returnType. The problem is, that the soap request i generate has an namespace defined for an element but without an prefix: This is what i get: 1 2 < soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi= "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" 3 xmlns:xsd= "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" 4 xmlns

Remove autogenerated <request> and <METHODNAMEResult> from SOAP request / response
Hi, i am writing an webservice which should be called by an SAP-System. We had predefined wsdl-files, from which i generated (wsdl.exe) the classes used in the webservice. There is an predefined object as an methodparameter when calling the webservice. The response is also an predefined object. My problem is, that the soap request has an additional <request> tag and the response has an additional <MethodnameResponse> tag. These tags are autgenerated by .NET. What can I do to prevent this

Re: Dynamic created ModalPopup Window
This sounds good. But in my Dialogs I will have more various controls like dropdownllist or textboxes wich will have to be bound to an eventhandler too. They have to be in the controls. It would be perfect, if I can handle the events, which are triggered by my control, inside the page.

Dynamic created ModalPopup Window
Hi, I am having a lot of modal popup windows on my page (20+). When i click various buttons on my page, various modal popupwindows should apear. But I don't want to define all the windows in the aspx, because the windows are pretty large. So I think it would be fine to place one Panel containing an UpdatePanel and one ModalPopupExtender on the page and on clicking a button on the page i create an composite control and place it inside the Updatepanel, update() and show the modal dialog from code

Re: PageRequestManagerServerErrorException 12019 12130 12031 and 12152
Hi we had the same problem on our live-system. It was caused by SSL-Connection. If you have SSL, try turning off Keep Alive for IE. hth

Re: Sys.Webforms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException actual cause (related RoleManager issue)
I think this could be the same problem we had. It only occurs with an IE6 and SSL connection and when the page was idle between 20 sec and one minute. What we did is to turn off the keep-alive of our SSL Connection. This worked.

Re: Best Practice using ModalPopups inside Updatepanels
Am I right, that the complete content of the updatepanel will be transfered, or only the content that changed?

Re: Best Practice using ModalPopups inside Updatepanels
Hi, Have you tried to set both the gridview, the linkbuttons and the modalpopups in the same updatepanel ? There is no need to have 2 update panels. Xav
Hi, bit I am trying to reduce the transfered data to a minimum. I think putting everything in one updatepanel causes a huge overhead.

Best Practice using ModalPopups inside Updatepanels
Hi, i have the following problem: I have a list of linkbuttons where each linkbutton is bound to an modalpopup. I also have an gridview. If I select a new row in the gridview, the some linkbuttons should be activated some not, depending on properties of the selected row. Also depending on the selected row, the content of the modalpopups has to change. My Current situation is that the gridview is inside an updatepanel, the linkbuttons and the modalpopups are together inside another updatepanel. When
