  Actually the aforementioned code works nicely. Maybe I didn't express my self correctly. I was asking whether it matters to set the EventName property. To me it seems to be disregarded. Consider the following scenario - update panel with a label inside and a GridView (outside the update panel). The GridView has paging, sorting and selecting enabled. • AsyncPostbackTrigger EventName property - is it taken into consideration?

  Does setting the EventName property of an AsyncPostbackTrigger matter? It seems to me that all postback events caused by the control specified using ControlID will update the target update panel. Even setting the EventName to "Load" works.   Hi MistaT, I am part of the telerik team responsible for RadMenu. To the best of my knowledge we have not released a misspelled version of our control but I could be wrong. I also don't think RadMenu.Net2.dll could be registered in a wrong way in GAC. Maybe it would be best if you send us your project so we can take another look. I hope this is a viable option for you.
