Re: WCF generate proxy class through command line.
we're using VS 2008 and the service reference is using the *.svcmap file instead of the *.svc file. base on what I read, seems like svcutil is for the latter ( svc files ). is this true? pls. correct me if i'm wrong. and pls. show me how to generate the proxy files from command line given the *.svcmap file.

Unable to find manifest signing certificate in the certificate store.
I am trying to automate our build process in a different machine and i ran into this problem. The original machine is working fine with no problems. but once I moved it to another problem this error keeps popping up. I read in quite a number of forum that checking/unchecking the Sign ClickOnce in the properties page solve the problem. However, my machine do not have VS installed so all I can do is update the tag in the project file to false. After doing so I am getting a different error now. MSB4044

Sending Outlook Task from .NET
Hi, I wanted to send an outlook task from my .net application. I have spent some time reading through a couple of blogs and samples and have found 2 ways to do so. Drawback is Outlook needs to be installed in the machine ( correct me if i'm wrong here ) and it has a security issue ( popup that will ask whether to allow external access - this is not

Re: FileUpload - uploading file with very long file name not working.
I realized it does not work on IE7 but works with Google Chrome... both renders the file upload control differently..

Re: FileUpload - uploading file with very long file name not working.
when i click the Browse button and select the file with the very long filename... nothing happens.. but when i click a file with normal length filename.. the textbox gets populated with the path. is this the same behaviour you had?

Re: How to get HTTP HOST in Global.asax?
Accessing of Request in Application Start is not advisable as this will be broken in IIS 7.0.
