Adding handler through web.config instead of iis
Hi, im using mvc routing with iis 5.1 on my development machine. In IIS 5.1 I had added a .* wild card extension pointing to isapi.dll. But in my hosting server i dont have access to IIS so I guess I have to add a handler in the web.config. So my question is it possible to add a .* wild extension in web.config rather than in IIS? if yes , what is the syntax? Thanks

Re: Installing MVC on VWD/C# 2008 express editions...
I have an existing WebSite Project and didn't want to convert it to WebApplication. So I installed MVC without SP1 on VWD Express 2008. I then merge the web.config, put the Controllers in the APP_Code, add references to the 3 assemblies in the bin folder, and added a .* extension mapping in iis 5.1. I did some Routing and as far as I can tell it works. So is there anything else that might break?

No Controller Specified In Url
Hi, is there a way to have a controller that is called if no controller is specified? For instance, if url is : http//www.site.com/category1/product1 or http//www.site.com/category2/product2 i want one controller to handle both of these url, and access the 'category1/product1' or '/category2/product2' parameters. Thanks

Re: webmethod in code behind changes not updating
After further investigation, this only happens for pagemethods that are in pages contained in a subfolder. When I moved the page to the root, it updates fine. So this gotta be a bug.

Re: webmethod in code behind changes not updating
i have the same issue, the PageMethods not updating when changed. After testing around i found that it only updated when the web.config was updated(without any changes, just put an empty space anywhere and save). is there an easier way to update my PageMethods?
