ClientScriptResource with null as componentType sometimes throws an error
Hi, I'm using the ClientScriptResource attribute to include additional JavaScript files in my custom extender control. To do this, I pass null as componentType, just like the documentation says: [ClientScriptResource("MyControls.Component1", "Webresource.Name.Of.Script1.js")] [ClientScriptResource(null, "Webresource.Name.Of.Script2.js")] Most of the time this works great, but sometimes this triggers an exception: Value cannot be null or empty. Parameter name: type

Re: Add a CSS class to an UpdateProgress
I tried that, but I want the updateprogress to have display:inline, which I can only do when I apply it directly to the parent container. Thanks, Thomas

Add a CSS class to an UpdateProgress
Hi, how can I attach a CSS class to the (automatically generated) wrapping DIV of an UpdateProgress-control. The UP doesn't have a CssClass-property. Working with the ID of the UpdateProgress isn't an option, I'm using too many UP and they all share the same style. thanks, Thomas

Re: ListView control not available
The forum post you mention exactly describes my problem, but doesn't provide a solution. I tried reinstalling .NET FX 3.5 SP1, doesn't change anything. My web.config seems to be correct too. Thomas

ListView control not available
Hi, I'm experiencing a strange error: when I'm in the VS2008 HTML designer (source editor) the control asp:ListView is not available ("unknown server tag"). When I use the ListView class in my codebehind though, everything builds fine but there is still a server error when I open up my site. It's the same for Intellisense: in the HTML editor asp:ListView is not available through Intellisense but in my code behind the ListView class is available through Intellisense. Has anyone

Using resource file to add variables to an embedded CSS file
Hi, I was wondering if I can use a resource file to introduce variables to an embedded CSS file similar to <%=WebResource("MyApp.help.gif")%> (where help.gif is an embedded resource). I know this works: . myClass { background-image: url( <%=WebResource("MyApp.help.gif")%> ) ; } So I want to be able to do something like this in an embedded css file: . myClass { color: <%= MyApp.Properties.Colors.defaultColor %> ; } Where Colors is the name of a resource (resx

Re: Drag & Drop is broken
Thanks for the answer, but I think you misunderstood my question. I'm not looking for another 'responsive' way to drag&drop, I just noticed that the dragvisual (= semi-transparent copy of the element that moves along with the cursor while dragging) on DragPanel or ReorderList used to be there on IE7 but now isn't anymore. Is it possible that a change in behavior of IE7 itself might have changed the behavior of these controls? Or am I just wrong and did DragPanel and ReorderList
