Re: HMC 4.0 to 4.5 migration
Sorry for not being clear My existing 4.0 environment is very much consolidated, maybe network layout was not done in the best possible way, so I would like to do new HMC 4.5 in the correct way. I don't want to upgrade existing servers, if possible. But to minimize downtime, I would like to migrate existing users and mailboxes from HMC 4.0 (physical environment) to new HMC 4.5 that will be done in virtual environment. Thank you Alex Randjelovic

Re: HMC 4.0 to 4.5 migration
Dmitri, Upgrade Walkthrough is assuming that no hardware change will be made to existing HMC 4.0 environment. Described upgrade is "in-place" upgrade, so this will not really work for me. Is there anything like migration from 4.0 to 4.5 that wouldn't modify existing environment? Thank you Alex Randjelovic

Re: HMC 4.0 to 4.5 migration
Randy thank you for your reply. OCS and SharePoint is something I don't currently have in 4.0, but will need to implement in 4.5. Because of that and the need to have HMC in new virtual environment I will need to do new installation. But I will need to minimize downtime, so I am not sure how to start installation of HMC 4.5. Thank you Alex

HMC 4.0 to 4.5 migration
Hello all, I am exploring options for migrating our existing consolidated HMC 4.0 environment to new HMC 4.5 virtual environment. I need to have migration with the least impact on users. What would be the best way of doing this? Same AD? I know there are tools for HMC 3.5 to 4.0 migration, but is there anything for 4.0 to 4.5 migration? Thank you for your help Alex

HMC4: Public Folders problem
Hello, For some reason I can't create top level Public Folder. Using Hosted Email 2007::CreateFolder procedure gives error "The specified organization already has a root level public folder". I tried everything I can think of, but i can't see, delete or create any folders. I also tried to deallocate Public Folders using Exchange 2007 Resource Manager::DeallocatePublicFolder, but error is "The specified consumer instance does not exist" Please help Thank you Alex
