  Hi, I have found this problem several times. finally I was able to corner it in my case. I was using several UpdatePanels on my page and have few javascript functions within SCript tag in HEAD section of page. It is important to note that whnever javascript function contains "postfix increment operator" i.e ++ or "postfix decrement operator" i.e. --, it will throw "Unknown Error". • Asp.NET Validator unsuccessful but updatePanel posts back

  Hi , I am using July CTP release of ATLAS. My page contains a serverside dropdown list and a required field validator, both wrapped within UpdatePanel Control. Dropdownlist has Autopostback property set to true and Validator has InitialValue property set to "-99" ( this is the first Item in the dropdownlist). Having serup like this when a page is displayed first item is selected by default. Now user selected another item and UpdatePanel CORRECTLY makes asynchronous call to seerver. However
