• HeaderControl in gridview

  I am creating a header for a gridview control. Certain columns in the header need to have both a heading and a subheading. For instance, columns A,B,C will have headers apples,oranges,bananas but will all be under the header fruits. I am seeing nothing that will allow me to do this. Can anyone help? It is probably much simpler than it seems.

• server.transfer

  I posted this earlier but have narrowed down my problem. I am using server.transfer in an update panel. To be consistant with the rest of the app I'd like to continue using this if possible. I get "unknown error" and from what I am reading there are problems with server.transfer and updatepanels. I have tried this in a sample application with only one update panel containing a link button which calls server.transfer when clicked. Nothing else going on. Without the update panel the user

  I am using an update panel which holds a link button that transfers to another asp.net page. The link works fine when I remove the panel but inside it, I get an unknown error pop up. I have done some research and see others are getting this but I am not finding the causes mentioned - title being null, special characters. Can anyone shed light on this? The page has 4 update panels. This one (causing the error) has a repeater control which contains a user control(which has the link button). I have
