• GridView with different products Image, Name, Price on different columns and rows

  Hi, I am trying to create a gridview similar to the one on newegg.com home page. First item on the left top hand column. Secound in top middle column, third on right top column. It will take the 4th item on the second row and so on. I could not make it work even though I am using a template field of the gridview. What control should I use in order to create it?

• Help refresh GridView and DetailView in two different ASCX.

  Hi, I have two different ascx page for gridview and detailsview. The ascx page which contains the gridview also contains the detailsview ascx. The problem is that, I cannot refresh my gridview after updating my detailsview. I have read about bubble up event but I cannot understand on how I can use it here.

  Is there any solution other than making a static constructor? I am working in an ASP.NET application and need to pass the variable to different events within the same page. Usually button1 click pass the variable value to button 2 click handler, and button 2 click passes it to button 3 and so on. Is there a way without making it static, using session/viewstate/cache?

  I have the same problem but with HyperLink instead of . I could not find the HyperLink ID with the MyRow.FindControl method to access the NavigateUrl field from code behind. Can someone give an example on how to do this? Thank you.

  I have tested if there are 100 files created at a time, then FileSystemWatcher only processed the first 15 files created if I handle the Xml processing using OnCreated event handler. Why is this?

  Hi, I have been developing a way to parse every xml file within a folder using FileSystemWatcher class. I have read on different forum which mentions that FSW has its own problems and sometime is not dependable. Is there a way to fix FSW problems so that it's dependable? If not then I will try to find a solution so that if this directory is not empty and contains xml file, then read through each one of them.
