• Using db xsd - need to change the connectionstring dynamically

  I need to change the connectionstring of the web.config dynamically. But I don't know how to do it in the db xsd. Is there a way to dynamically change the connectionstring through the code behind (like the password, etc?)

  I use window.open and link to a pdf. The webpage opens the pdf viewer in the webpage - but i want to customize which toolbar items appear. I want "Rotate.Clockwise and Rotate.Counterclockwise" to show up. Is there a parameter I can attach to the url to allow this?

  Which is faster (dataview.rowfilter or datarelation) to display a joined table? I'm testing both and they seem the same to me. But not sure what would happen if the data result set increases exponentially.

• Textbox value not being recorded after postback

  Through javascript i set the textbox value to a certain value. Then after i submit a button - I get the Textbox.text value on the server side, but it's blank. I thought it would be in the viewstate?

  I figured it out. I had to put the validationsummary outside the usercontrol. It was repeating. Stupid mistake.
