Re: GoDaddy
Here is my working web.cong. Here are the steps I followed on Go Daddy 1. First, get a copy of the Go Daddy Walkthrough post on this site 2. Create your DB on Go Daddy using their SQL tool. Note the user name and password you use to create teh DB 3. Using the create scripts in the CSK, create your table, sp's, etc. changing the dbo ownership in the scripts to the ID you used to create your DB on Go Daddy. 4. Use the Go Daddy Walk Through to add your Admin ID 5. Modify your web.config to use the

Re: GoDaddy and ASPNetDB
Are you sure you have a DB named ASPNetDB? ALl of the aspnet tables in my Go Daddy setup are part of the ClubDB. You shouldn't be using a sqlexpress setup either. Go Daddy supports only SQL, access and My SWL I believe. If you are trying to access the aspnet table sin your DB, just use your normal Go Daddy connectyion string and make the calls to the specific tables.

Re: Changing the day colour in the event calendar control
The calendar colors are controlled by the stylesheet.css, so you would need to be able to change this dynamically. I am not too sure how you would make that change. The current color settings are for: .calcurrentmonth .calothermonth .calcurrentday .calweekend You may need to add an entry for, say, .caleventscheduled. and change the background-color setting if there is a database entry

Re: Tips needed for integration of FreeTextBox control into News_Edit.aspx page
I have the Free test box implemented and it seems to be going good. Here are a few things to look into. You have Free Test box installed into your site with the appropriate directories You have the appropriate Free Text Box Entry at the top of your page You have the proper Freetext box tag for your control I don't have access to my source right now, but will tomorrow. I will see if I can get you some examples. Bob

Re: SQL 2005 login etc issues when moved online, [godaddy.com]
Photox, I will have to do some searchng, bit there is a Go Daddy Walk Through, in the CLub Starter Kit Forum I beleive, that shows you how to extract the user ID, etc. from your local DB and insert it into your Go Daddy DB. If I remember correctly it is around step 26. IN any event, I had the same issue with a Club Starter Kit and a Personal Starter Kit on Go Daddy. It sounds like your web config. etc. are correct because you see the default.aspx page. So it is just a matter of getting the user added

Re: How do I restrict users logging into the site once they have registered?
I implemented the CWS Kit Amin solution from http://www.aspsksolutions.com . You get quite a package for site admin. You have three or four alternatives for member approval. Bob
