  hi, im looking for an equivalent code for imagecopy and imagecopymerge (GD) for Bitmap class. Before this I used GD-Sharp (wrapper) but I didnt notice that the license is GPL. • sorting table physically

  im using version 2000 and 2005. is there a way to sort a table (by date) in the database other than retrieving all the data, sort it in dataset and reinsert it back ? the search function is broken i think. not sure if this is asked/answered before. thanks

  ahh nevermind. i found the solution. my mistake was, i didnt use left join and second if i dont have a friend, my id is not in the friend table at all. so i had to use 'OR' to include my own id from account table. it was late at night around 4am, maybe im sleepy and i couldnt think of it.

  table friend table blogmini my userID is 1. the first table is the list of my friend's id. and the second table is all the posting me and my friend's made. right now, i could retrieve all the post made by me and my friends. the problem is, if i have 0 friend, it wont show anything including my own post.

• combine 2 datasets vs complicated sql query

  i got this problem where my database is complicated and i cant really find a solution yet. my question is, will the performance get reduced if i combine two datasets than normal sql query ? i still havent solve the sql yet, just wanted to know other options (joining datasets).

  ok i got it fixed after i removed <xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy"/> from web.config. and then i found out about this http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2006/12/10/gotcha-don-t-use-xhtmlconformance-mode-legacy-with-asp-net-ajax.aspx dang, took me 2 hours.
