  I installed the hotfix, and it works fine at beginning. I haven't seen the same error for the past 3 weeks, but UNFORTUNATELY, the problem showed up again today.   hikingNerd: I am having this same problem, also. And all of you are correct. The only Temporary fix is to make a small change in the offending user control, and copy it to the production server. I was hoping that in-place compilation would have helped, but no dice. I have written an ASP.NET 2.0 intranet application for my company and can't release it into production until this problem is solved. If anyone has found a fix, please let us know. Thx.
