  It's a pity, but I didn't find the core of the problem, i.e - why did button's postback caused this error. This is why I had no other solution as to get rid of the postback. I've just used ajax -)

  Try to save your pages obviously in 1252 encoding. I don't remember exactly, something like this: Save As -> Options -> Save with encoding.

  Hello. I am going to use Iframe to show PDF files. And for user convenience I want to chage Iframe size in accordance to document page size, that could vary. Is it possible to find out height and width of pdf? Thanks in advance!

  May be You could advise me a file exchange site that You have no problems to download from? For now you could try to download here . If You don't mind I can e-mail it. It occupies only 600 Kb. You can give me your e-mail in private message. Notoce, I have simpified it as it was possible and left only part with ModalPopup

  NNM So, You want to say that Microsoft couldn't make its own browser (yes, I use 6th IE) to understand and correctly render its native technology? While third party projects do it better!

  You know, it happends only in IE! . I've checked in Mozilla and Opera, but they have other bug - only half of modal panel is filled with colour! So Ok and cancel buttons look like hanging in the air. pic1 , pic2 , pic3 BUT, what the most surprising, both Opera and Mozilla render modal popup smoothy during its drag and moving!!! While in IE it is moved slowly with interrupts. I thought, that IE is more efficient in work with JavaScript...
