Re: Infragistics with ATLAS
Here is another one for you. I am using infragistics webultra grid and wrap it up with Atlas (June CTP) update panel. I use web grid id in triggers and UpdateCell event. When I try to run application it throws Unknown Error. Also everything works fine and app doesn't break if I run it without atlas. Moreover, it processes the record the way it should with Atlas (no errors in the event itself). The only thing is this weird Unknow Error alert window... Please help.

The file 'file name' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested
Hi there, Here is what happened. 1) I converted 1.1 application to 2.0 using VS 2005 upgrade utility. 2) I created precompiled version of the web site and configured IIS application on the local (Win XP Pro ) machine. Tested it and it worked fine. 3) I pushed on dev server (Win 2003 Server) and configured 2.0 Application in IIS. First page is login.aspx and it works fine. But most of the pages in a project throwing exception I used in subject... What are possible reasons for that?

Re: The file has not been pre-compiled, and cannont be requested.
I am running on release version of the framework and getting this error. Pre-compiled version works fine on my local machine but not on dev server. Were you able to figure this out. Does anyone know what causing that?

Re: How do I debug "File has not been pre-compiled and cannot be requested" ?
Hi there, I am having exactly the same problem. Well, it is really similar. I had a .NET 1.1 project that we moved to 2.0 using VS 2005 upgrade utility. When I publish it I check "use fixed naming and single page assemblies" only. It works fine on Win XP Pro on my dev machine (pre-compiled version). Once I move it to DEV (Win 2003 Server) it gives me the following error Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: The file has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested It gives this errors for

Re: Great Mystery with Cascading Drop Down
It is all good as long as we know where and how XML file is being stored. Now we know. Thank you, Aleksey

Re: Great Mystery with Cascading Drop Down
As far as restarting IIS it could be of course issue with my IIS or IE settings specifically. Also I never specifically set them for sure and never had any problems with ASP.NET applications. But can you try it on yours (just in case). Change xml file values for carsservices.xml example to something else and run your web site. Do you see the changes immediately or not?
