  helo, normally, the smtp port and smtp server is given by your email hosting provider. if you dun have any, then most easier way is to create 1 mail server. go BING some free mail server software,setup and you are ready to go. typically, SMTP port will be port 25, some is 587. i would suggest you to use the smtp server = localhost, port 25 and try your luck~

  hi, well, the step are pretty simple. 1st, you check if the user/email is valid in your database. if yes, then send a email contain the reset password instruction to the mention mailbox. there is a catch here, some ppl will just random enter email to try the luck, so, you will need to ask for the security question before continue the mail sending/reset password page.

Which browser you use ? did you notice that your taskbar appear 1 popup something like : localhost : 42425 (random port number) ? Just like in figure 6 in the tutorial web
