  The assembly is not in GAC, it is a referenced class library project. The reason you see "mt" instead of "MT" in the warning is that I over-use ctrl-k-d (format page), and that converts any unrecognized tag prefix to lowercase.

• Problem with ASP.Net Development server and Internet Explorer

  I'm using a win XP sp2 machine, amd athlon 3800X2 with visual studio 2005. I'm trying to run a simple ASP.Net project using the "debug" button but internet explorer takes forever to load, and there is almost no CPU utilization whatsoever. Every action or click I perform on the website takes forever to perform and hangs the IE for about a minute. The app is only 2 aspx files, one of them being a login page using forms authentication.
