  • Re: Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 Setup Wizard ended prematurely

Cheers Mark, I originally was looking for this service in my services list but didn't even realise it was the first one in my list! I had the service disabled, so I put it on manual just to see if it would work and sure enough the installation finished successfully. And also I installed this on an xp professional machine.

I'm also having trouble installing this on my machine. I just updated my visual studio 2005 with SP1 and attempted to install this. Once the trigger is set off, then the GridView is updated with the new data according to DropDownList1. When an item is selected in the GridView
  • UpdatePanel produces an alert box on Error

Hi there, I was force testing my application for errors to make sure that if an Exception occurs on the page, it would redirect to my error page according to the web.config's 'customErrors' configuration. When I forced an Exception on one of my 'Atlas' enabled pages, it instead produced an alert box containing the Exception. I managed to work around this with a try statement where I forced the error, but this is no good because I am now hard-coding the error redirect instead of the page dynamically
