Browser specific CSS files in App_Themes folder.
I understand that all the App_Themes folder (with selected theme) will be deployed to the page when the page is rendered to the UI. What if I had a IE6 specific CSS file, which I would want to go to the end-user browser if and only if they are using IE. One option that I know of is to directly put the file reference from a master page with IE conditional comments. Anyone else with any brighter ideas?

Re: Cont: A local error has occurred (formatting fixed)
One potential reason would be that the accound that the membership provider is running on is locked. Unlock the user, and you should be fine.

Re: PageMethods - Unknown web method UnLockTask.
Maybe this will help. Try iisreset. I observed that iis does not recognize your webmethod even if you recompile.

VS 2005 settings
Weird question. I have set up my project to use the local IIS on XP. So, the website in the solution is configured accordingly. We work on it as a team, so, we have it saved in VSS. Funny part is, whenever I reboot my system, and try an run the website, it tries to attach itself to Cassini webserver and not to IIS. Any idea why this happens?

Re: Conditionally calling JavaScript from server-side
As a matter of fact, you can. However, the only headache is to associate it with an event. If you can associate your condition with an event, either pre-defined or custom, then you can use the trigger. -Sashidhar Kokku

Re: Linking to new page
Obviously you are handling the btn_Click event to save the data entered by the user. To go to the next page, you can use Response.Redirect([PAGENAME]), or Server.Transfer([PAGENAME]). -Sashidhar Kokku

Re: Conditionally calling JavaScript from server-side
I think u should use triggers in the updatepanel, and set the trigger to the textbox. JS...why...when u have update panel itself. -Sashidhar Kokku

Re: Load a usercontrol from a physical location rather than a virtual path
If you are using a console application, then the best option for you is to give the physical path to the user-control starting from the bin of the console application. As a side node, its not a very good idea to reference web from console apps. Instead use a stringbuilder or similar to create the html and push it out to the pdf component to do the rest. Hope that helps. Sashidhar Kokku
