  Can you post a web.config and sample page that demonstrate the problem. You're not using any AJAX or Futures features, just Profile itself stops working?

  For programmatic access, you have to use the temporary validators directly.

  The update includes a set of fixes and is still completing a comprehensive set of testing. It should be out on Windows update in a few weeks.

  For runtime support, installing System.Web.Extensions to the gac is sufficient to add the AJAX support. You will also need the web.config entries that add the tag mapping, compilation, handlers and modules.

  The validator change caught people by surprise and should have been advertised more broadly. And the wrong script written to the Program Files for the CTP caused confusion. But Jason, what step back in quality or functionality are you seeing? If you are running into a bug, please let me know so that we can get it fixed.
