  Thanks for the reply Curt_C. I apologize for the long delay in my response but I got tied up with a few other projects. Anyway, I tweaked the database a bit and this is what I have come up with (click link for diagram image) Thats all I have really had time to do so far. If anyone feels like taking a look at that I would be grateful. Thanks again.

• My first project: Helpdesk/Work order system

  I’ve spent (wasted) a great deal of time searching for a good but SIMPLE work order/helpdesk web app. I found that 99% of the turnkey apps were just to … complicated. I want a system that allows users to submit tickets, to assign those tickets to a tech, have the tech insert comments into the ticket, and close the ticket. Oh, and I want it to do notifications. I couldn’t find one that did just that and didn’t have all sorts of bells, whistles, and flashy lights. So, I’ve decided to create my own
