Re: Hosting Directory ...
jmw45: I appreciate the hosting info you supplied. I also agree with you concerning the support pre-requisites. Email and Trouble Tickets do not work for me either. I called www.hostmysite.com and they do have a live person and he was very helpful. However, their Virtual Dedicated Hosting is Linux based only. They can handel SQL 2005 but not in the way I was hoping. I am wanting to use the Club starter kits by being able to create what I want on my local machine using VWD and then FTP the folder

Re: Hosting Directory ...
jmw45: I can't speak for anyone else, but I wasn't trying to get something for nothing. I had even told the hosting people that I was more than happy to pay for the service and I couldn't even get a quote back from them. I told them I eventually wanted to move my 12 domains from the 3 hosting companies I was using to one but I was looking for service and support ..... >>>>> Well ... I wasn't specifically referring to You re getting something for nothing ... it was just a general statement

Re: Buglist suggestions - implementing the Issue Tracker Kit ...
aabruzzese: Joe, Well it certainly seems that you did not get all that many replies. You know I would certainly use it. Well, I guess we can give it another week. To make the ITK 'useable' would require a fair amount of work. joe

Re: Buglist suggestions - implementing the Issue Tracker Kit ...
aabruzzese: Hi Joe, You are doing great, I really enjoy seeing some of us go above and beyond the usual casual "How Do I?" type of participation. We may well set an example for alot of our counterparts in the ASP.NET world. Angelo ... Lets take a survey and find out how many people would actually participate in the Bug Tracker using the Issue Tracker Kit. joe

Re: Buglist suggestions - implementing the Issue Tracker Kit ...
aabruzzese: Hey, Does anybody have the Issue Tracking Kit up and running? That would be a fantastic way to integrate some of the Starter Kits. We could use the Issue Starter Kit to keep track of the issues we find on the Club Starter Kit. I use Brinkerster as a free hosting site, I wonder if it would work over there, or perhaps I will have to simply open a different Port # on my server here and run the Issue Starter kit there. Angelo ... I installed the ITK ... and it seems to be 'working'. Now,

Re: Modififying Events so that everything sits in the code behind
OK ... thanks for the pointers Angelo. I should be able to take it from here. I'll try to install and look at the Issue Tracking Kit this weekend. joe

Re: Modififying Events so that everything sits in the code behind
Zalihe: Hi, ive downlaoded the kit and it installed fine, i tested it on one of my other sites, calling my data, and it all works fine, but my problem is that i want to put everytihng in the code behind, and rather than using the e sqldatasource i want ot deifne my variables all in the code behind, ive been trying to figure it out but with no success. hope dsomeoner can point me into the right direction. Same here. Too bad the Club Site is not in the code behind model, instead of the inline model
