Re: Hosted sharepoint stops working
Reboot fixes it. So far this has happened once as i have only been running services for a few weeks. I am expecting another failure soon, about 10 days appears to be the timing. Matt

Re: Hosted sharepoint stops working
I am getting exactly the same problem. Anyone know why this is happening? I can't realy see how to investigate it, very odd.

Outlook just shows me a grey content pane with the following message. 'Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location.' Cheers Matt

Open Additional Mailbox
I am trying to use the 'Open these Additional Mailboxes' feature in Outlook. I can happily add within the same organization but have been unable to open the mailbox. The primary mailbox is an Administrator for the Org and i have added Read permissions to the additional mailbox available to the Admin group for that Organization ( it already has Send As permissions ). Has anyone out there successfully used this feature? It would seem to be quite an important one, i have some customers who really need

Re: DNN websites - slow?
There are several candidates for this problem. From a cursory inspection of your site i can suggest a couple of things to lookinto. 1. Caching - DNN caching settings (in host settings) can have an enormous impact on pageload. Try them out to see what works, bear in mind this will only affect Non form pages and essentially will prevent unnecessary database access. 2. Sql server optimization - default sql setup is far from optimal for DNN and does a whole load of stuff you just don't need, like roll

Re: Moving .NET apps into DNN portal subdirectory
I have run apps in thier own directory structure, inside a DNN deployment using web.config to override the default config but it is far from ideal. Have you considered porting your apps into User Conrol (realy easy) and then using a tool like OpenDNN-SmartModule? http://www.xepient.com/OpenDnn.aspx#OpenSmartModule . I have had a lot of success with this recently, its sooooo simple (realy, i could teach a novice how to build a custom module in about 20 minutes!). And then you can have dnn safe access
