Re: Running 2.0 and 1.x together???
Hmmm. I ended up writing some user info to a cookie that expires after about 30 minutes from within my "Main" app on .Net 1.1 and then when the user enters the "Secondary" app in the virtual directory running .Net 2.0, I read the cookie and set new session varaibles. I however do see that this may not be the most secure way to get session state between 1.1 and 2.0. Any other ideas? I cannot make major changes to the 1.1 app right now like changing to SQL Session state. Chavak

Re: Validation of viewstate MAC failed / The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted
I too had the "Validation of viewstate MAC failed" problem After trying all those edits to the <pages> section of my web.config file... It turns out I too had an extra <form></form> tag in my code. Once I removed the extra <form> tag, it worked great. It's always something stupid... But .Net should catch this for me... I think. Thanks, Chavak

Re: Unable to update Email field
The change to membership_details.aspx did not work for me. All I added was the line Membership.UpdateUser(user) Any other ideas why the data edits are not being made? All other pages seem to work. Thanks, Chavak

Running 2.0 and 1.x together???
I have a large 1.x site with membership and a few applications created by different programmers. Now I am working on a module for the site using Visual Studio 2005. Instead of migrating the whole site, can I have a small part of the site using .Net 2.0 while the rest stays put until we can rewrite lots of messy code? Withing my module can I get variables from the membership site running 1.x? Are there any tutorials helping with this if it is even possible? Thanks, Chavak
