Re: ReorderList control is very slow with more than 50 items
Unfortunately the slowness is caused by the method used to display the items. Too many events firing and page content changing makes it impossible to use with large lists. I think it needs to be re-written. If I ever find the time I would like to give it a go. Speed improvements: Reduce the HTML in your row templates. I have mine trimmed down to bare minimum and use CSS to construct most of the row. Reduce the content in your rows. Don't display too many fields per row. Use mouse-overs / details

Re: Problem with MicrosoftReportViewer v9 on a page that has AjaxScriptManager
I dont have an update panel on the page and it still happens. It doesn't happen with ReportViewer v8 controls or if I use IE6/Firefox2.

Re: Problem with MicrosoftReportViewer v9 on a page that has AjaxScriptManager
I took the report viewer out of the update panel but the View Report button still produces an error.

Re: Problem with MicrosoftReportViewer v9 on a page that has AjaxScriptManager
My bad. I did have the Report Viewer in an update panel. Took it out and all is working. Any ideas when this bug will be fixed?

Re: Problem with MicrosoftReportViewer v9 on a page that has AjaxScriptManager
I have refered to the articles you posted but they seem to be related to putting the Report Viewer inside an update panel whereas I am not. Is there a way to disable an AJAX Script Manager from a content page so it doesnt interfere with the Report Viewer v9 control?

Problem with MicrosoftReportViewer v9 on a page that has AjaxScriptManager
I have a masterpage with a ScriptManager on it. When I use a content page that has a new MicrosoftReportViewer v9 control on it, it gets Java errors like: 'this.postBackSettings.async' is null or not an object. Reports are on a ReportingServices server. Doesn't happen with IE6 or Firefox 2.0.0.9 but does with IE7 Doesn't happen with ReportViewer v8 If I remove the ScriptManager from the masterpage the report viewer works fine but this is not ideal. Designing with VS2008 RTM, .NET3

Re: Dynamically changing ConnectionString values
I will be using a single database with multiple tenants. You can get almost the same efficency with only a small amount of added complexity.

Re: Dynamically changing ConnectionString values
Thank you for your post but unfortunately the approach taken there won't work either as I need to be able to set the connection string after the user has logged in. I'm using a separate database for authentication and then depending on who they are I need to change the connection string for the rest of the site.

Changing connection string at runtime
I need to be able to change the contents of a connection string at runtime before my DataSets and TableAdapters use it but the connection strings seem to be readonly.
