Mobile Web Forms tab in Toolbox
I'm curious if anybody knows if the "Mobile Web Forms" tab is available in VS 2008? I have looked everywhere, but can't find it. I have an existing ASP.NET website that I would like to add some mobile page functionality to. Any advice is helpful!! BW

Re: IIS 7 hosting error
Applying the ASP.NET 3.5 SP1 fixed this issue. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/cc533448.aspx

VS 2008 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 Express
Hi- I just installed SQL Server 2008 Express and I am no longer able to create or connect to existing databases inside the Solution Explorer and Server Explorer. When I connect to an existing database via Server Explorer i get this error... "Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance. The connection will be closed" Does anybody have an idea what I can do to fix the problem? I've tried uninstalling VS 2008 completely

Re: IIS 7 hosting error
We did implement the "workaround" on the page level, but I agree that the fixes are just coverups. I wouldn't recommend placing the workaround on a global application error event.

Re: The specified network name is no longer available
I never recieved this error when using WS2003/IIS6, and we just installed fresh servers built for WS2008. So, I would say it's an issue with either the OS or IIS7. There was another known issue that we called in a ticket for, and Microsoft said there are a few known issues and they will have a fix in the next few months. I'm thinking this might be one of those issues with IIS7 and WS2008. We've been recieving this error about 100 times a day, and there's no way to reproduce the errror

Re: The specified network name is no longer available
I've been experiencing the same thing since switching to WS 2008 and IIS 7.

Re: IIS 7 hosting error
FYI. We contacted Microsoft about the problem, and it is a known issue they are working on a fix for. They said it should be available in the next few months. Here is thier workaround solution for the interim. I’ve got the confirmation from my product team that we are working on a fix for this known issue which should be available in another few months. But, you have a workaround for this which I want your developer to try. This happens because the client has disconnected. So, we can clear the exception
