Re: Permission issue with 3.13 - WORKAROUND
My 402 installation is also having this problem. Clicking Update in the File Manager did the trick!

Re: H2O
Hi Chris, I've been too busy with other projects to do much testing of this. However, I'd like to do some testing now. Is the current latest version 1.5.3 released on March 9th? Are you close to doing another release, which I should wait for before I begin testing?

Re: child portals with partially common content - "How to ?"
I think I should add that part of what has made the support exceptional is that they are very responsive to requests for enhancements. They have added several features for me, very rapidly.

Re: child portals with partially common content - "How to ?"
I have had a very different experience with DNNMasters. I own several of their modules and have always enjoyed great functionality from the modules, and truly exceptional support from DNNMasters. In fact, I just wrote to them yesterday that they are among my handful of "must-have" vendors for DNN modules! I own the Content Builder module, and am currently setting it up on two portals. I can attest that it has the cross-portal sharing, and many other great features. Several of those features are mission

Re: Looking for a User Profile Module.
The Smart-Thinker HomePage module gives the user a page just for him, with the modules predetermined by admin. Traffic Director by dnnSpired allows users to set their preferred redirect destination. For the My Favorites, I'd suggest you simply use one of the many standard links modules and name it "Favorites".

Re: How to tell DNN version
If you turn on the copyright notices in host settings, then the version displays in the browser title bar. That's not as easy as looking at the version in the host settings, but I like to turn that on if I've created a development copy of the installation which I am upgrading for testing purposes. That way there's no mistaking live content for development content.

Re: New Custom Forms Module - In Design...add your input
Chris, I'm just getting ready today to do some further testing. Is 1.0.31b the most recent beta? Want to upload another before we do more testing?

Re: Betreft: Re: Betreft: Re: Skin quality
Most of those ones are hard-coded. The page layout doesn't change frequently enough to justify the additional overheard of the dynamic menu on those particular sites.

Re: Betreft: Re: Betreft: Re: Skin quality
I enjoy doing highly-customized skins (unique to each portal) and am available for hire to do the same. I think the best skinning is often very portal-specific. Here are just a few example DNN sites I skinned, as well as host and maintain on an ongoing basis: http://www.fibercity.us http://www.quileuteoceanside.com http://www.foodpoweryoupower.com http://www.drive2survive101.com/ http://www.laplacesur-la-mer.com http://www.gatewaysteam.com http://www.michaelsactionart.com
