Outlook sync problems
Hi, I have problems with my consolidated solution. I've seen this on at least 3 domains now. Entire domains will get Outlook problems during a send/receive session. It's the famous 'operation failed. an object could not be found.' message. They can successfully send and receive, but it is irritating to the customer. I have tried rebuilding offline address books, rebooting all the servers in the solution, etc. Nothing seems to work. In the past I have been able to delete and recreate customer domains

Re: Strange password reset behavior in the Control Panel
I'm guessing you haven't found anything out about this yet. Would it be crazy to try and reinstall the sample cp? I've really got to get this figured out. Thanks.

Re: Strange password reset behavior in the Control Panel
I am not aware of any changes (although obviously something had to change). That is why I am so dumbfounded. Here are the log entries for the various cases: Administrator changing his own password: 2006-05-01 15:27:49 W3SVC1 x.x.x.x POST /Control/logon.aspx - 443 - x.x.x.x Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 302 0 0 2006-05-01 15:27:49 W3SVC1 x.x.x.x GET /Control/Browser.aspx - 443 - x.x.x.x Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5

Re: Strange password reset behavior in the Control Panel
Ok. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you figure something out. In the meantime, I apologize but I do not know how to do a network trace to determine the URL. Can someone help me with that? Thanks.

Re: Strange password reset behavior in the Control Panel
Sorry, I've been away for awhile. I would not know how to access the pages directly because the URL for the two field and three field screens both seems to be http://domain.com/control/account.aspx?mid=5. Thanks.

Strange password reset behavior in the Control Panel
Hi, I'm having some weird control panel problems. I can tell you that this was working fine 3 days ago. I have not changed anything that I am aware of that should have caused this problem. 1. When a non-admin user logs into the control panel to change their password, they no longer get the page with three fields (old password, new password, confirm password). They get the page for administrators with two fields (new password, confirm password). When they try to change their password, they get an

Re: How to remove Exchange plans?
Thanks. But that isn't exactly what I am asking. I know how to remove available plans from organizations, I want to know how to remove plans completely. There are XML templates to create your own service plans, but there aren't any to delete those service plans. I want them completely gone so that they don't even show up when setting up a new organization. I see that I can set their status to DS (disabled) in the SQL database, but I was hoping there was another way to do this - maybe to delete them

How to remove Exchange plans?
Hello. I am using the consolidated deployment and I want to remove all of the Exchange plans that I created. To create them there is obviously the createmailboxplan.xml file that can be used with the provtest.exe application. I know how to do that, but I cannot find a similar file for removing a plan. I've tried to create my own by guessing about the procedure value, such as 'DeleteMailboxPlan' or 'RemoveMailboxPlan', but both give me errors that the namespace doesn't exist. Can anyone help me with

Re: Cannot send smtp to customer domain from the outside - consolidated deployment
Ok, I can see my problem now. The smtpdomx process is not executing on the front-end server like it should. I double-checked that the dll was registered and that the RefreshInterval was set to 0x00000258 (600) - this should be every 10 minutes. If I reboot the FE01 box, the process runs at boot and the domains.dat list is processed. If I do not reboot the box, the process does not seem to be running at the scheduled interval. If I add a domain to the control panel, I can see that the entry is added

Re: Cannot send smtp to customer domain from the outside - consolidated deployment
Ok, it would appear that the domains.dat file is not being properly updated by the SMTPEventSink on the front-end Exchange box. But I want to be absolutely sure. Do you know how to check the domain table for Exchange so that I can see if the list matches the domains.dat list? Is this something I can do with ADSI edit? Thanks.
