Re: Failure adding assembly to the cache: Unknown Error
I went back and installed the Cassini files for Framework 2.0 and ran into the same error. I just loaded the Cassini.dll manually to cache and went on. I was able to bring up the server. We will see how it goes from there. kc_g_man

Re: Cassini and .Net 2.0
Ok I loaded the Cassini.dll to .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration assembly manually and continued with the build. It finished and I was able to start the server. I will now see how far I get thanks. g_man

Re: Cassini and .Net 2.0
Thanks I am new to this. I never figured how to add the path name to build.bat (it never liked Program Files with the space). So I copied the sn.exe. I get the same error as I did with Framework 1.0: Installing Cassini.dll into Global Assembly Cache ... Failure adding assembly to the cache: Unknown Error --------------- Errors in build Any help would again be nice - thanks

Re: Cassini and .Net 2.0
I unzipped these files because I received a build error "Failure adding assembly to the cache: Unknown Error" With the new build I get a different error: C:\Cassini>build.bat -------------------------------------------------------------- Generating Cassini strong name key ... 'sn' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. --------------- Errors in build the build.bat has: sn -q -k Cassini.snk Any help would be appreciated Thanks Gary
