Re: Visitor IP Address
DotNetNuke has the builtin log that may meet your need. Go to Admin -> Site Log. The log is stored in XML file so you might be able to parse it.

Re: WAP for DotNetNuke
I use the "Codebehind" syntax, not "CodeFile" Here is some background: The solution has two projecs: the startup project (CORE DotNetNuke) using WSP model and the custom module using WAP. I wonder when buiding the the custom module, the compliler may think the custome module is also using WSP? Thanks for the response.

WAP for DotNetNuke
I am upgrading a DotNetNuke custom module using VS2005/WAP. When compiling the module (a WAP project), the DLL is put into the bin folder and everything works fine in the development machine. When deploying the WAP project dll and all the ascx, rexs files to another server (no vb code behind or vb class file), there is error saying that the server can not find the .vb file for the ascx file. Are all the vb files supposed to be compiled into a project DLL? Why would it looking for the code behind

Re: dnn3 > dnn4 module conversion
I converted our UserManager from DNN 3 to 4. I copied all the class that do not have ascx associated to App_Code folder and leave all the ascx and their associated ascx.vb files under the DesktopModule folder. Below are a fews issues I had to manually resolved 1. Codebehind changes to CodeFile - mass replace the this key word. Then for each ascx file, go in and delele controls that were ref. (Notice with CodeFile, you would not need to declare control (ex. textbox, lable, etc.) in the ascx.vb file
