Re: Active Directory for new versions?
Hi there - I have that exact same issue. I use DNN 4 internally as a intranet and don't want anyone except AD users to be able to login. Could I simply change the login link to point to WindowsSignIn.aspx file. Currently when a user logs out they are unable to log back in using there Domain\username + password. The only way I can make it work is to go back in and re-enter their password into the DNN database however this then places their password out of sync with the AD password which defeats the

Re: Compilation error.... Name 'Config' is not declared.
I had this problem last week but it was resolved in the following forum. http://forums.asp.net/1106373/ShowPost.aspx Good luck with that. Next you will get the File upload error. Additionally if you are going to be using the AD authentication portion check this out. This helped me out tremendously. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ModuleActiveDirectory/tabid/840/forumid/89/scope/threads/Default.aspx Good luck

Re: DNN 4 File Manager error
In addition to posting this issue in this forum I also e-mailed the company that I had purchased some Skins from and they tested their setup with DNN4 & explained that they had the same experiance. So we are definitely are not alone. Here is the response I received from them. "We have compare Skins from V3.x and V4.x no changes needed between this Versions. We have setup also a V4 DNN Test-Site and become the same error. When you login as host and download a skin-Package from DNN 4 and upload

Re: DNN 4 File Manager error
I am also getting all sorts of errors relating to file upload manager. I get the following error when trying to upload a file thru the file manager A critical error has occurred. Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that

Re: Installation Problems DNN4
I got exactly the same error message. Does anyone have a solution so far. Here is an example of what I was doing. 1. New install (have previously installed 3.13 fine - have removed it) 2. Attempting to install DNN 4 3. Make changes to web.config as required 4. Get this error
