  I had the same, where I kept getting the 'incompatible' message box. The solution I found was to download and use the VS cleanup tool (vs_uninst.exe). This can be found at: http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/04/19/409555.aspx You will then need to reinstall the .NET framework 2.0 and then install SQL 2005 beta. Gareth
