Re: Major Problem: ASP.NET AJAX links stop Windows Media Player
Thanks for finding that ! I was stumped until I was creative enough in google searches to find your post. Bet you never thought it would still be helpful 3 years later. My problem is it is the link buttons rendered within the paging footer of the gridview control that is causing the problem. I will have to find a way to override these somehow without having to go back to do all the paging manually myself :|

Re: Trying to Delete a Module Definition throws an error.
This is happening because the user identity that the site is running under does not have sufficient permissions to remove the files... Give the appropriate account (i.e aspnet) write permissions and this should be fixed. Cheers, Hamish.

Re: Betreft: !How to maintain IN HOUSE development DNN?
Sigh. Maybe if I look at the DotNetNuke project on ASP.NET workspaces that would help....

Re: Betreft: !How to maintain IN HOUSE development DNN?
*bump* ? xpdit has got me a _little_ closer to where I want to get, but just not quite there. Surely this would be an easy question for anyone in the core team?

Re: Betreft: !How to maintain IN HOUSE development DNN?
Hi, Thanks for the replies. CruiseControl.NET looks interesting but not exactly what I am after here.. xpdit - it seems that all that the Nant build file does is compile the solution you specify and zip the entire root folder (recursively) into a single zip file (either Install or Source or both). Note that if you specify the DesktopModules solution, it won't even compile unless you have "browsed" and installed the site first, as the project references to the modules don't even exist otherwise. Looking

!How to maintain IN HOUSE development DNN?
If I am maintaining my own version of DNN in my own source repository (where I make bug fixes and my own modifications to modules etc), how should I be storing the module source code and how should I go about creating release builds from what I have in sourcesafe to something that can be installed on a website? I guess I am asking how the core DNN team organises their internal DNN source repository, and how they go about creating releases from that which the general public then download as I probably

Re: Hello anyone!! Where are the core module code behinds in dnn4
Essentially - I would like to know how you maintain your own source repository for DNN and how you go about making your releases as I need to do the same sort of thing! Thanks..

Re: Hello anyone!! Where are the core module code behinds in dnn4
Shaun, what do you suggest one should do if they are running DNN4 and wish to modify one of the core modules? Having a stab in the dark here, would I need to download 3.2, get the source for the module that way (by having the .resource file extract itself after running the site), make my changes, recompile the assembly and copy the modified assembly across to DNN4? Which raises another point - as I am essentially maintaining my own version of DNN in my own source repository (where I can make bug

Re: Multiple portals under version 4.0? HOW??
Ouch! That's nasty. I have just re-created the issue - I'm glad you found it as I am currently evaluating DNN4 and trying to decide whether to go with that or DNN3.2 and this would probably be a big deciding factor. Yes, if someone from the core team could shed a bit of light on this that would be great....
