  • Re: Data Persistance Layer

We've just re-written our ASP.NET web-app using a pre-release version of CM#'s Data Persistance Layer. It takes a different approach, you define the classes and the db tabls are generated automatically. Check out our blog post on it here: http://www.icoblog.com/2008/05/new-data-layer-for-bitsdujour.html

We've recently re-written our ASP.NET web application with a new Data Persistance Layer produced by CM3. It's a pre-release version, but it's a really great library, you basically define your business objects and it creates the SQL and Database tables for you. I've got a write-up of it here: http://www.icoblog.com/2008/05/new-data-layer-for-bitsdujour.html

I continually update my site and I'm looking for a solution that would allow an incremental deployment of only those files needed on production when I make a change to my code. I really don't want to have to upload the entire site every single time or use an external FTP application when I fix a typo. Is the Web Deployment

  • Re: Recommend a Color Picker ASP.NET Web Control?

The following control is only DHTML, and not ASP.NET, however it's as powerful as you would find in a desktop application: http://www.iconico.com/colorPop
